Death Stranding received a patch with photo mode and improved performance

Photomode for Death stranding was originally introduced as one of the features of the upcoming computer port, but not so long ago the studio Kojima productions confirmed that the mode for creating custom screenshots will also appear on Playstation 4, and today, two months before the release of the PC version, it officially became available to console players through a new update.

Photo mode is included in the update under the number 1.12. The patch weighs about 1 GB, and is allegedly also aimed at improving performance.

Previously, Hideo Kojima showed several examples of shots demonstrating the capabilities of the photomode. The option, in particular, allows you to customize the angles, adjust the tone, impose frames, change poses, and much more. The mode is launched by clicking on the left side of the DualShock 4 touch panel, but the developers warn that the game has certain areas where the function is not available.

On computers, the photo mode will be available from the first day of the release of Death Stranding. On Steam and Epic Games Store, the game will appear June 2nd.
