Destruction “on steroids”, crossplay and F2P-mode – an insider spoke about Battlefield 6

Blogger Tom Henderson, who specializes in insiders about the Battlefield and Call of Duty series, has recorded a new video, in which he shared some more information he knows about the shooter Battlefield 6

  • Levolution system “on steroids”. Almost all buildings on the map can be destroyed, with the exception of those in which the objectives are located. However, the damaged building will not fall in a predictable way. This will depend on which part of the building to inflict damage on, and each time the destruction pattern will be different. For example, if there are tanks on the road, you can destroy a building so that it falls directly on them, which will create a completely new element on the battlefield;
  • The squads will return. Up to four members with standard Assault, Engineer, Support, and Scout classes. Several units can be combined into one platoon;
  • Multiplayer will get cross-platform features between PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. If the PS4 and Xbox One versions are released, they will also be included in the crossplay system;
  • There will be Battle Passes for seasons 8 to 10 weeks and a Free-2-Play item. Most likely, we are talking about Battle Royale.

The shooter will be officially announced this spring and will be released during the 2023 holiday season.… The project is rumored to be a soft relaunch of the franchise set in the midst of modern warfare and with massive battles for up to 128 players on current platforms.
