Designer and Producer Such an Imamura announced his retirement from Nintendo… The industry veteran joined a Japanese company as an artist in 1989, a career spanning over three decades. Imamura reported about this on your page in the social network Facebook.

“This is my last day at work. I took a selfie against the background of an empty office (everyone works remotely, – approx. GameMAG). I guess I won’t appear here anymore. I’ve spent 32 years here and I will miss you!” – he wrote.

Imamura has participated in the development of several major franchises, including Star fox, F-Zero, The legend of zelda, Donkey kong and Super smash bros… In recent years he has contributed to Star Fox content for the Switch version of space action Starlink: Battle for Atlas from Ubisoft

Imamura has also designed several iconic Nintendo characters, including captain Falcon (Captain Falcon) from F-Zero, Tingle from The Legend of Zelda (first appeared in Majora’s Mask) and Fox McCloud from Star Fox.

Finally, Imamura acted as art director The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask – the darkest part of the series.

Imamura did not specify what he plans to do next.
