Following the Bad Boys and The Matrix, Hollywood bosses are getting ready to brush off the dust from another forgotten movie franchise. This is a series of fighters “Deadly Weapons”, the fourth part of which appeared on the screens in 1998.
In a round-table conversation The hollywood reporter producer Dan ling (Sherlock Holmes, Ono, Aladdin) reported that Now the idea of the fifth and last part of “Lethal Weapon” is being worked out, in which the duet, beloved by the audience, should return Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. The director’s chair is called Richard Donner – He removed all previous issues.
“We’re trying to make the last movie in the Deadly Weapons series. And Dick Donner is coming back. The original cast is also coming back. And it’s just amazing. The story itself is very personal for him. Mel and Danny are ready, so it’s up to the script.”
Co-authored all past parts Shane Black. It is not yet known whether he will return to writing the script for the new film. Last May, Fox closed the Deadly Weapons serial adaptation after season three.
