Famous post-apocalyptic shooter Dayz about surviving in a captured zombie world has become available completely free on PC.
Bohemia Interactive decided to please fans of shooters and the genre of survival, so it announced the start of a free weekend for its DayZ game, Gamebomb.ru reports. The shooter is already available absolutely free for everyone. To start playing, you need to go to the official DayZ page on Steam and click on the green “Play” button, after which the client will begin downloading. The promotion with free access will last until 21:00 Moscow time on Monday, February 17. These days, the full version of DayZ is available to players.
DayZ developers promised the players that all progress during free access will continue, Gamebomb.ru reports. To continue playing after the end of the promotion, you will need to buy a game. To retain new players, the creators of DayZ provided a 40% discount on the main game and 10% on the Livonia expansion. It is worth noting that free access this weekend is open only for the PC version. The action is not valid on consoles.
Bohemia Interactive DayZ shooter was created based on the popular mod for the game ArmA 2. The release of the game took place in 2018 on the PC, as well as in 2019 on the Xbox One and PS4.
