Company CD Projekt RED published a record of a large-scale presentation on the financial results of the organization for the first quarter of 2023.
President of CD Projekt participated in a long speech Adam Kichinsky, senior financial director Petr Nelyubovichas well as vice president Michal Novakovsky. Together, senior managers of the Polish company shared a lot of information, telling both about the successes already achieved and only the upcoming plans. - The full-fledged version of the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 for the next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X is indeed under development, its release is scheduled for next year.
- The development of Cyberpunk 2077 has passed into the final stage. Now the team works mainly at home, this will continue throughout the summer, until August. Despite certain difficulties associated with such an important period and the need to work remotely, CD Projekt continues to adhere to the designated release date for Cyberpunk on September 17 this year.
- The Witcher series has overcome yet another important milestone – 50 million copies sold. Almost two-thirds of this figure is attributable to The Witcher 3 alone.
- In June, representatives of the media and specialized press will be able to personally see the current version for the first time. Cyberpunk 2077. This is an important step for the studio, which will help to get the necessary feedback and reaction from people not involved in the development.
- June 11th public presentation will take place Cyberpunk 2077 under the heading Night City Wire. Its contents were not disclosed, but the authors invite all interested to see it for sure.
- Card game Gwent, its distribution and support model helps CD Projekt in many ways to prepare for the future multiplayer mode of Cyberpunk 2077. In fact developers have confirmed that the stand-alone online component of their new role-playing game will be developed according to the service model and actively supported for many months.
- By the time the pandemic began, most of Cyberpunk 2077’s production processes had already been completed. The authors did not encounter the inability to record animations in motion capture studios and similar difficulties. A small problem is the preparation of localizations, namely third-party soundtracks, but these difficulties are gradually receding.
- Despite partnership with Nvidia, CD Projekt is currently not planning any promotions in which Cyberpunk 2077 will ship with new graphics cards. However, both companies continue to collaborate on marketing issues.
Release date Cyberpunk 2077 should take place September 17th on the Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC. As stated earlier, the next presentation of the game will be held June 11th.
