Crytek finally announced a remaster Crysisthat will appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in the summer.
The updated version is created jointly with Saber interactive, which last year successfully transferred the third “The witcher“On Switch and released hit World war z. It is expected that only the storyline campaign will be part of the game – without multiplayer.
Among the visual innovations we can expect:
- new quality textures and improved assets
- improved anti-aliasing
- the appearance of global lighting, including on the basis of voxels
- first-class depth of field
- own software (!) ray tracing
- the appearance of particles.
And this is not the whole list of visual improvements. However, the developers are not in a hurry to show off the first frames of the remaster so that we can personally see and compare the new and old Crysis.
