Last month studio Crytek released a new major update for the PC version Crysis: Remastered and hinted that in the near future the console release of the shooter for Xbox and PlayStation will also receive a fresh update “with a number of exciting innovations.”
As it turned out, by this the developers meant the optimization of the game for the next generation consoles.… The corresponding upgrade has already been released for Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 and added several modes of operation to the project, including those with support for 60 FPS and ray tracing.
Xbox series x:
- Performance Mode – 1080p / 60 FPS
- Quality mode – 2160p / 60 FPS
- Ray traced mode – 1440p / 60 FPS
Xbox series s:
- Performance Mode – 1080p / 60 FPS
- Quality mode – 2160p / 30 FPS
- Ray traced mode – 1080p / 30 FPS
Playstation 5:
- Performance Mode – 1080p / 60 FPS
- Quality mode – 1800p / 60 FPS
- Ray traced mode – 1440p / 60 FPS
In addition to this, a new patch has added a level to the console versions of Crysis: Remastered for Xbox and PlayStation. Ascension (previously it was only on PC), the classic nano-suit control mode, and also improved performance and fixed many issues that could lead to crashes.
