Studio Hypixel planned to release her sandbox RPG adventure Hytale this year. But, as it turned out, the plans of the developers have changed a lot. After a long, almost six months, silence, the studio announced that the game has undergone radical changes.
As we remember, last year Hytale became part of the company Riot games… Supported by the creators League of legends the studio expanded its staff to include specialists with unique talents and approaches. The studio’s working methods have also become more efficient and focused.
The result was the desire of the developers not only to release the game, but to make their own contribution to the development of the genre. To do this, they needed to rethink a number of aspects of the game, including weapons, special fighting styles, character customization and artificial intelligence.
After a lot of research and discussion, the studio finally came to a clear understanding of which way it should move. Unfortunately, this path has become a couple of years longer: the work will definitely not be completed earlier than in 2023.
