Studio Awaken realms announced that the bagel Tainted Grail: Conquest goes out of early access Steam May 27. And during the final month, the developers are preparing a whole set of additions and updates.
Before the release, the studio is going to change the balance of all playable characters, improve optimization, change the look of the game, add new features, quests and storylines. Conversions are planned so massive that old saves will no longer work.
The story of Tainted Grail began with a board game. Awaken Realms released a PC adaptation to Early Access last year, but then decided to split the project into two standalone games. Tainted Grail: Conquest was originally conceived as a roguelike mode.
The rest, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, remains in Early Access for now. Nothing is known about the timing of its release, but it should take place this year.
