Concept art of the animated series appeared on the network Sonic prime from Netflixfound in the artist’s portfolio.
Earlier it became known that the plot will be somehow connected with the multiverse. Confirmation of this can be seen in concept art, which depicts several Doctor Robotniks at once and portals to other dimensions.
Sonic Prime is being developed by the creator of the show “Ben 10” Joe Casey, and is responsible for production WildBrain Studios (“Carmen Sandiego”). The series is being created using 3D technology, and the season will consist of 24 episodes.
Sonic Prime is slated to premiere in 2023.
