Studio Codemasters posted a video on her channel with a first look at DiRT 5 in the version for the new console Sony… Besides demonstrating gameplay, in the video the technical director of the game David Springgate shared additional details on the improvements made to the rally race at Playstation 5…
First of all, Springgate noted the ability of DiRT 5 to run on PS5 at up to 120 frames per second, which should appeal to fans of racing games who are interested in maximum smoothness of the gameplay.
In addition to the high frame rate, the PS5 version of the project will offer full support for the DualSense controller features. With adaptive triggers and tactile feedback, players will be able to feel the impact of collisions and resistance while riding on different surfaces. These advantages make DiRT 5 “unlike any other racing game,” Springgate said.
Another feature of DiRT 5 on the PlayStation 5 will be support for 3D audio technology, allowing you to get 7.1 surround sound even when connected to the controller with regular headphones. As an example of the use of this technology, the developer cited the soundtrack of the game, which will be delivered to gamers from all sides from the speakers placed along the track.
DiRT 5 on PlayStation 5 will go live with the console 19th November… The game will appear on Xbox Series X 10th November…
