Capcom reveals the map of Resident Evil Village and the design of the main villain – Mother Miranda

Capcom reveals a complete map of the world Resident evil villagewhich shows the four main locations of the Romanian village – Dimitrescu Castle, Beneviento House, Heisenberg Factory and Moro Reservoir. Each landmark was assigned its own monster illustration.

Project director Morimasa Sato notes that characters are the most important aspect in creating a memorable village. The design of the castle, led by Lady Dimitrescu, has already been revealed, but at least three more locations remain unknown.

In this case, snow will play an important role – not only in the narrative, but also in the gameplay. When the developers went to Europe for inspiration, they were surprised that the snow was still lying in the spring. Initially, it was not in the eighth part.

In addition, the developers showed the design of Mother Miranda – the main villainess of the eighth, which is still shrouded in mystery. Her presence is felt in every corner of the village, the locals worship her, and Lady Dimitrescu spoke to her on the phone in one of the trailers.

But they do not plan to reveal the details of the character before the release – the players will have to study this for themselves.

But I will say this: Mother Miranda and the inner sides of her character are extremely important to the game.“.

Mother Miranda in the village is portrayed as a goddess

The developers also revealed a fresh poster for Resident Evil Village, which depicts Chris Redfield with Rosemary, Ethan and Mia’s daughter, Ethan himself, and still in the same mystical way of Mother Miranda.

However, the appearance of Ethan himself on the poster is much more interesting – although they try to hide the appearance of the hero to the last.

New key poster

In the story of Resident Evil Village, Ethan goes to the village in search of his daughter, whom Chris apparently stole – the latter seems to be hunting Mother Miranda.

The game launches on May 7 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
