Capcom is not going to port Monster Hunter World to the Nintendo Switch, but it already has plans for another game

On Switch Capcom previously released only Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (Monster Hunter XX in Japan), the port of the last game with Nintendo 3DS, and initially they were not going to localize it for the USA and Europe, but a big request forced the publisher to reconsider plans. Project sales quickly exceeded 1 million copies, which exceeded forecasts.
