By the fall of 2023, the studio intends to complete a large-scale expansion and modernization of the main office. The office area will increase by almost 2.5 times, which will contribute to the implementation of plans for long-term development Destiny 2 and the creation of completely new worlds on the as yet unannounced IP.
In the new office, several teams will be able to work simultaneously on different projects, including those outside the Destiny universe.
Also in 2023, Bungie will open its first overseas office in Amsterdam. He will focus on international business development and will bring together the company’s marketing and publishing divisions.
In addition, key Bungie employees VP Mark Noseworthy and Executive Creative Director Luke Smith are tasked with overseeing and preparing the expansion of the Destiny universe in additional media formats. General Manager Justin Truman is now responsible for the development of Destiny 2.
Finally, Chief Creative Officer Johnny Ebbert and General Manager Zach Russell have been made responsible for creating and promoting Bungie’s creative vision and foundation for future worlds. The studio plans to release at least one game over the new IP by 2025.
