The show included a lot of new gameplay for Raz traveling between brain worlds, as well as some of the repercussions of infiltrating those minds. In addition, the authors took a closer look at the main world and its many areas to explore, such as the quarry, abandoned mines and caves near the Psychonauts’ headquarters, and a roadside attraction called The Doubtful Area, where the Raza family camped. The entire presentation hinted that Raz will have a lot to learn about his family and the Psychonauts as he goes on an adventure.
Psychonauts 2 will be released 25th August on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Steam and Microsoft Store. Pre-order is now open, and Game Pass subscribers will be able to start playing from day one.
