In a new interview, the producer of the series Bourna Frank Marshall stated that he would like to reload the franchise with new authors.
According to him, now there is an opportunity for new creators to somehow change the familiar formula. Therefore, the producer hopes to find a new interesting plot and a team that will embody it on the screen – the search for specialists has already begun.
The creators of the franchise have already tried to restart the spy series with Matt Damon. In 2012 came out The Bourne Evolution, the main role in which he played Jeremy Renner. The project, however, did not become a hit.
By the way, in the same interview, the producer mentioned working with James Mangold over the new part Indiana Jones, thereby confirming that the author will really be staging the next film in the series “Logan.”
