According to him, Treyarch will continue to actively support Black ops cold war new content even after the next Call of Duty comes out. There are two reasons for this:
- Cold War surpassed expectations for revenue from additional content
- Activision has doubts about Sledgehammer’s Vanguard.
At the same time, many maps for Cold War are taken from Black Ops 2, since the next Call of Duty from Treyarch will resemble it exactly – apparently, the near future awaits us. According to the blogger, at least remakes of Slums, Yemen and Plaza are expected among the new maps.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is due to announce later this summer via Call of Duty: Warzone. The shooter will return during World War II, and the battle royale map should be updated at the same time as its release in November.
A shooter from Infinity Ward (Modern Warfare) is expected in 2023, and from Treyarch (Black Ops) in 2023.
