BioWare Fans Wait: EA Reveals Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Release Date – New Trailer

Together with the lifting of the embargo on the preview Mass Effect: Legendary company Electronic Arts officially announced the release date of the collection.

Released RPG Trilogy BioWare will take place May 14 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC (Origin, Steam)… On the occasion of the announcement, the developers presented a new trailer and shared fresh details.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will offer fans improved versions of the first three parts of the series, with all the single-player content and DLC on board. Games will be optimized for 4K and HDR with refined visuals, including remastered character models, tens of thousands of textures, shaders, updated lighting, as well as improved dynamic shadows, volume rays and depth of field.

In addition to this, the developers expanded the character editor, unifying the creation options for all three parts, added a female version of Shepard from Mass Effect 3 in the first two games, and improved the pre-rendered cinematic cinematics to make every plot moment even stronger. On the new generation of consoles, Mass Effect: Legendary will offer improved performance and faster boot times, while the PC version will boast common graphics settings for the entire trilogy, in addition to support for 21: 9 widescreen displays, controllers and DirectX 11.

Of the entire collection, the original Mass Effect has undergone the most comprehensive revision due to its age. The authors have done some work to improve the environment with the addition of more details, updated the interface, aiming, control and camera behavior.
