Prepared by the Russian studio Mundfish ambitious shooter Atomic heart will be released not only on Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC, but also on next generation consoles Xbox series x and Playstation 5… This is reported by the edition IGN, which received at its disposal a new video of the project. It shows a battle with Ivy, one of the mini-bosses. The developers called this creature “organic”.
“Maybe this is the result of undercover government operations … Who knows? You have to figure it out for yourself. Maybe it’s just jelly?” They jokingly noted, adding that Ivy shows how agile enemies can be in Atomic Heart.
“But it’s not the biggest or deadliest contender in the game.”
Another interesting piece of news: the composer took part in the work on Atomic Heart Mick Gordon, known for the soundtracks to the last parts DOOM… His track sounds in the new video.
Commenting on the next-generation consoles, the developers noted that thanks to modern custom SSD-drives Atomic heart will be a no download game… In addition, the hardware of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will allow the studio to fully realize their vision of the visual component without downgrading.
Atomic Heart is a BioShock-style first-person shooter set in an alternate version of the USSR. The central character of the game is a KGB officer sent to one of the country’s technological enterprises in order to understand the reasons for the car riot that took place there. Robots were created to serve the Soviet people, but for some unknown reason, they turned into bloodthirsty mechanical monsters, which it is better not to stand in the way.
The premiere is scheduled for 2023…
