The Infinite Darkness storyline will be included in the canon of the games and will tell about the events after Resident Evil: Vendetta – a full-length CG film released in 2017… The authors promise a story with dynamic action and elements of tension, which will show the world of Resident Evil from a previously unknown side.
The production of the show is overseen by Resident Evil producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, and the 3D animation is in charge of TMS Entertainment and Quebico studios, led by Yoshi Miyamoto, who worked on the aforementioned Vendetta.
The series will premiere in 2023 year exclusively on Netflix.
