Employees of the German studio fear that Tencent will force them to develop programs for simulating military operations for the needs of the Chinese army or industrial espionage. And this already refers to the issues of the FRG’s national security.
Crytek and Tencent did not respond to Bild’s request. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development did the same.
