American Association Entertainment Software Association (ESA) today presented some details of the upcoming gaming exhibition E3 2023, including a list of ten largest companies whose presence at the show has already been confirmed.
ESA has already secured commitments from Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Bethesda softworks, Sega, Capcom, Square enix, Take-Two Interactive Software, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., and Warner bros Games.
In previous years, the presence of the companies from the list above could be considered a settled matter, but recently the show has been haunted by a number of high-profile departures. For example, a Japanese company Sonymissed last year’s E3, will not appear and on the present. And this happens even against the background of the imminent release of a new generation console Playstation 5, which will look at store shelves at the end of this year. As for the details of E3 2023, this year part of the event dedicated to “industry” day, June 9th. It will be available only to qualified industry professionals and to anyone who acquires special “premium badge” for $ 995.
On June 10 and 11, they will be joined by members of the public who will buy “game badge” for 165 US dollars.
ESA said this year the association intends to shake shows using extended live streams and broadcasts from the exhibition halls, where interviews with developers will be presented.
E3 2023 will be held from June 9 to June 11, 2023.
