DICE confirmed that in Battlefield 2042 there will be full crossplay and cross-progress between all platforms.
At the same time, the developers postponed the technical testing of the shooter until the end of the summer in order to bring to mind the aforementioned features and conduct a closed beta immediately on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC with the opportunity to try important innovations in real conditions.
The transfer of progress between all platforms will work in the usual format, while crossplay works in a slightly different way – including due to limitations on the previous generation consoles.
Will be able to play together:
- PS5, Xbox Series and PC Owners
- shared online between consoles and PC can be disabled
- Owners of PS4 and Xbox One.
