The 9-minute video reveals the plot of the game, where the mysterious Oz is trying to unleash a war between the remaining states, but the Irishman is now trying to interfere with his plans – he wants to stop the impending world war.
The Irishman will become a Battlefield 2042 character who prefers defensive gadgets. He returned to the role again Michael K. Williamsknown for “The Wire” and “The Underground Empire”.
The character will be available at release, and those who pre-order will receive a special outfit for him. Now DICE has revealed only half of the specialists – the rest should be shown for release on October 22.
The developers have said more than once that although there is no traditional campaign in Battlefield 2042, the game will have a plot. They intend to develop it gradually through different media – whether it be posts on social networks, cinematic videos, events during online battles, and the like.
