Despite the peculiar style of their older brothers, BATTLECREW Space Pirates is a two-dimensional shooter wholly voted on online multiplayer, and is currently available in Early Access on Steam. Early access will serve to test servers, listen to community feedback and to be able to calmly add content to the game that is not yet ready. In this single mode we will have to try to collect and deposit more gold than the opposing team; by good spooky pirates as we are, we will have to steal it from one of the containers of enemies or others that will be generated randomly throughout the level.Battlecrew rewards a lot of teamwork, as the characters are all different and suitable for different tasks; to have greater chances of success it is preferable to build a diverse team and carefully organize their own moves since, being a very fast game, it pays very few mistakes. y both with mouse and keyboard and with a controller: we have tried both ways and we have not encountered problems of any kind, making it accessible and fun either with one method or with another, so use it freely the control system most preferred without worry.

Characters, albeit few, are all well characterized and different for their roles: they have 3 unique special abilities, one called “Fury”, which can only be activated during a certain time of the game. The first protagonist, John Trigger, is the classic balanced choice, ideal for starters: he has a powerful and long range shotgun, and his special skills include the use of a rocket launcher and a “magnetic climb” with which he can slip quickly along a vertical wall while rejecting enemies at the same time. Its
fury ability slows down all the opponents that are close to it, making them a very attractive prey. The second, “Janger”, is an anthropomorphic tiger with two swords: it is therefore a deadly fighter close but in distress on the distance. To overcome these weaknesses, it uses an energy shield and a roaring jumble that can be used both to get closer to the pirates to break down and to make strategic retreats; his fury ability further increases the power of his attacks. The third pirate, “Tiburon”, is a
shark man and represents the classic “tank” strategic character: he has so many life points, his attacks are also melee but less powerful than Janger and he is the slower character of the game. Its features, however, allow it to collect the greater amount of gold and, according to this, can increase its speed increases to become the fastest of all.
