Back 4 Blood won’t get Left 4 Dead style PvP – review addiction

Co-founder Turtle Rock Studios Chris Ashton in the official Discord-channel Back 4 blood stated that the upcoming co-op zombie first-person shooter will not receive a PvP-style mode Left 4 dead

We are talking about the Versus mode, when two teams of four people each compete in the most successful passage of the game’s campaigns. One team acts as survivors, and the other as the infected. After the commands are reversed.

Back 4 Blood also has a PvP mode called Swarm, where two teams of four each fight for the cleaners and the possessed. The cleaning team needs to survive as long as possible in the shrinking zone. After the commands are reversed. However, the battle takes place in certain arenas.

Ashton explained the decision to change the PvP mode as follows:

“We have a lot of protective gear, and our Special Obsessed are good at ambushing. Defense worked much better for our game than running from point A to point B, ”- Chris Ashton.

Back 4 Blood is in public beta right now. The first stage will end on August 9, and the fully open test will take place from August 12 to 16. The game will be released on October 12 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass
