Respawn entertainment introduced the first gameplay trailer for season 5 of its royal battle Apex legends called “Smile of Fortune.” The main innovations of the season will be the new Lob legend, a seasonal mission, a combat pass and a modified Kings Canyon map.
So far, the authors have not talked about the abilities of Loba, but in the trailer you can see how she uses her cane to get loot, and the bracelet for teleportation. But the developers presented the first seasonal task of The Broken Ghost, in which the players have to find 9 parts of a mysterious artifact.
To do this, gamers need to daily collect one Treasure Pack in any matches of the royal battle. For this, they will open rewards and access to the weekly Hunts on the nightly version of the Kings Canyon map, where they will have to get parts of the artifact.
For finding each part, players will receive even more rewards and open chapters telling the plot of The Broken Ghost. For all 9 parts, gamers will be rewarded additionally.
The new Apex Legends season will begin on May 12, and you can go to get the first part of the artifact on May 19, having got 5 Treasure Packs. As for the plot, the prologue will be available to all players at the start of the season.
Finally, with the start of season 5, Apex Legends launches the 4th rating series, in which the developers introduced a forgiveness system for losing and a reconnection function.
