Classic franchise Battle athletes will receive a new anime series adjacent to the restarted manga Pale Blue Dot: Battle Athletess Daiundoukai ReStart. Now the project is at an early stage of production, so almost nothing is reported about the details.
Battle athletes began its existence in the late 90s as a manga written Yuki Nakano and released simultaneously with the six-part anime. A little bit later “Athletes“got a full series of 26 episodes.
Now the franchise is restarted, and with the manga Pale Blue Dot: Battle Athletes Daiundoukai ReStartwhose publication will begin next month, the old story has found a second life.
Plot “Combat athletes“talks about the distant future and the fate of the girl Akari Kansaki, the daughter of the legendary athlete. Akari becomes a student at a special sports academy where the best athletes of the Earth gather, and now she will not only have to follow in the footsteps of her legendary mother, but also make new friends.
