Company Apple working on “thinner and lighter” version MacBook Air, which he plans to release no earlier than the second half of this year or in 2023, according to the journalist Bloomberg Mark Gourmet.
“The laptop will include MagSafe charging technology and Apple’s next-generation processor. Apple has discussed reducing the size of the laptop by reducing the bezels around the screen, which will remain 13-inch. The current model weighs 1.27 kg and is just over 1.27 cm thick.
The company considered creating a larger version of the MacBook Air with a 15-inch screen, but scrapped the idea, people who asked not to be named said. An Apple spokesman declined to comment.
According to Gourmet, the new 13-inch MacBook Air model will also feature a pair of ports. USB 4.0 for connecting external devices. The current laptop, which was launched in November with an Apple processor, is expected to remain in the company’s lineup as an entry-level offering.
