According to media reports, in the fifth part Indiana Jones will play Antonio Banderas – although its role is traditionally kept secret.
The new episode will not be directed by Steven Spielberg, but by James Mangold (“Logan”). The picture has been haunted by various problems for some time – either spoiler photos from the shooting appeared on the network, then the director himself had a fight with the fans. And then Harrison Ford was injured on the set.
All such incidents only increase the skepticism of the fans regarding the release of the new part, despite the assurances of the same Mangold that he is trying to make an excellent tape and satisfy the audience.
The film will premiere on July 29, 2023.
