Another Wasteland patch 3 dedicated to companion animals

Wasteland 3's next patch dedicated to companion animals

Company inXile told what new awaits players Wasteland 3 after the release of patch 1.4.0. Previously, the developers explained how the craft system will change, and now they paid attention to another important aspect: changes in the life of companion animals.
A nursery for our fighting animals will appear in the game. Animals will get there automatically if their “owner” leaves the squad or dies – of course, the animal itself must survive after the battle. Those whom we release from the detachment are also sent there.
Any tamed animal can be released from the nursery, but there is no particular sense in doing this now. After all, inXile removes restrictions on the number and types of companions, so you can take anyone into battle with you, there would be a place.
Some pets have also been changed. In particular, Polly the parrot now successfully demoralizes enemies, unleashing avalanches of marketplace abuse and exquisite bullying on them. The behavior of accompanying characters, such as Probst or the discobot, has also been improved: they will not be so inclined to get lost, although it is impossible to send them to the kennel.
The exact release date for Patch 1.4.0 has not yet been announced, but the update will appear in the game before the release of the first story add-on The battle of steeltown, and it will be available on June 3rd.
