Studio Codemasters temporarily disabled support for 3D audio technology for headphones in a racing simulator F1 2023 on the Playstation 5

In a note to the latest patch number 1.06, the developers stated that this feature was deactivated due to “some technical problem”… It will be re-enabled as soon as the command fixes any audio problems.

This is the second time that Codemasters have to limit the functionality of the PS5 version of F1 2023 due to technical flaws. Last month, the team temporarily removed ray tracing from the game, citing performance issues that were discovered. With the release of update 1.05 last week, support for ray tracing was returned.

As of update 1.06, Codemasters also fixed steering wheel issues. Thurstmaster, made balancing changes to some game chapters and improved overall stability. For a complete list of changes, see here.
