Russian studio Owlcat games launched on Kickstarter a campaign to raise funds for the development of a new game, which will be an indirect continuation of the role-playing game released in 2018 Pathfinder: kingmaker. The new project received a subtitle Wrath of the Righteous.

To create a sequel, the team needs from 300 thousand dollars. This will complete the project, which is currently in alpha stage. Judging by the activity of the backers, the barrier will be easily overcome. At the moment, $ 299,000 has already been raised.

According to the plot, the characters will challenge the Lords of the Demons and close the portal to the Abyss. The writer is responsible for the plot. Alexander Komzolov and narrative designer Chris Avellone.

The main innovation of Wrath of the Righteous will be the addition of a strategic element to the gameplay. Taking on the role of the Crusade Commander, the player will be allowed to gather troops, equip the fortress and send soldiers to fight demons throughout the region, explore the ruins or capture ancient artifacts.

Five new classes will be optionally presented (Arcanist, Bloodrager, Shaman, Oracle and Witch), as well as a race of dumpers. In addition, gamers will be able to choose one of six Mystical Ways (Angel, Lich, Trickster, Aeon, Demon and Azat), which will open access to new abilities and will influence the story.

During a non-linear adventure, up to 10 partners can join the protagonist, and several options for love relationships will be available. For beginners, the team will prepare advanced training, which will allow you to get acquainted with the basics of gameplay. In addition, it will be possible to rotate the camera 360 degrees.

Pathfinder: wrath of the righteous will be released on Steam and Gog.
