Sci-fi horror The Persistence will soon cease to be an exclusive PlayStation VR

Company Firesprite games announced the release date of her sci-fi horror in the first person The persistence on the Playstation 4, Xbox one, Nintendo switch and PC. Now the former exclusive Playstation VR will get to the “non-VR platforms” on May 21, 2023.

Physical publication takes over Perp games. Its release will take place “as close as possible” to the digital one (it depends on the development of the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on world retail).

“When we took steps to port The Persistence to new platforms, we focused on making the especially cruel nature of the gameplay jump to non-VR platforms,” says Firesprite Games founder Graham Ankers. “As a result, The Persistence keeps players in suspense from start to finish, and thanks to the procedurally generated environment around them, each walkthrough will be unique. This means that users will never feel safe. ”

Horror was originally born in July 2018. Players were encouraged to become a clone of security specialist Zimri Eder, who is trying to survive aboard an abandoned colonial ship. The latter has a self-adjusting macrostructure that can change its internal architecture.

Awakening in a new body or teleporting between decks, the player will find that the ship has changed. All of his systems were broken, and what exactly to expect is unknown. Eder’s main goal is to repair the ship and return to Earth.
