Founder of the Finnish gaming company Panic art studiosresponsible for developing games such as Hero siege and Eastfound, Elias Villone, was at the epicenter of a big scandal. The whole blame was a series of messages that the developer left in a personal Twitter account.
In particular, the developer allowed himself some very harsh statements in the direction of national minorities in Finland. First, the president of Panic Art Studios rudely compared the black and Middle Eastern population with animals, and then promised to invest all his resources and efforts in literally rid the world of the above-mentioned groups of citizens, assuring that from now on this will be the goal of his whole life.
In the next post, Villone switched to representatives “left movement” with similar calls for their reprisal. He motivated his actions by the desire to protect his country from “invaders who carry violence in the lives of innocent people”.
However, soon all the messages mentioned were deleted, and after that Villone completely blocked his account. The incident caused a fairly wide resonance and heated discussion.
Later, the old correspondence of Villone with an ArenaNet employee appeared on the network, in which the first rudely expressed doubts about the ability of women to hold managerial positions and criticized feminist movements.
Nasim Hackpreviously worked with Blizzard entertainment in the position of one of the community managers of the company’s e-sports business, he contacted the Finnish police with a statement about the racist remarks of Villone, calling them a threat to society. According to of information, law enforcement officials have already begun their investigation.
