Fantasy TV series “American gods“will not be renewed for a fourth season. On the closure of the show based on the novel of the same name Neil Gaiman, officially announced the channel Starz, thanking everyone involved in the project.
The obvious reason for the series’ cancellation was low ratings and high production costs. The multi-platform audience is reported to have dropped 65% from the show’s first season to its third.
However, according to the sources of the portal Variety, the plot of the project can get its logical conclusion in the format of a mini-series or a film.
