AMD Ryzen 7 4700G hybrid processor is at Ryzen 7 3800X level – review

Hybrid processor AMD Ryzen 7 4700G family Renoir not yet released, but has already shown its potential in benchmarks. Judging by the latest leak, the novelty turned out to be very powerful.

In the test suite database Cinebench r20 and Cinebench r15 testing results of this chip appeared in multithreaded mode. It is reported that there he scored 5102 and 2168 points, respectively.

It is important to note that this processor has 8 cores and 16 threads, the frequencies are 3.60-4.45 GHz, the heat packet is 65 watts. There are graphics Vega 8. The cache is 12 MB.

His competitor was Ryzen 7 3800X (Matisse) with the same number of cores and threads, but without integrated graphics. In this case, the heat packet is 95 W, and the frequency range is 3.9-4.5 GHz. The cache size is 32 MB.

Both processors are made using 7 nm technology and are based on the Zen 2 architecture. It collects about 5,000 and 2,100 “parrots” in the same tests. AMD seems to have another very successful chip expected. Although the release date is not specified, but most likely it will appear in the coming months.
