VideoCardz reports that AMD Radeon RX 6600 will go on sale in the middle of next month. The site staff managed to obtain the manufacturer’s internal documents, which indicate the publication date of the reviews.
The embargo allegedly will subside on October 13, but when exactly the official announcement and release will take place is not specified. Typically, the publication is followed by a product launch, but this date is not listed in the table. Despite this, the exact characteristics of the video card have become known.
The Radeon RX 6600 will receive 1,792 stream processors and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. According to the specifications, the video card will be equipped with 28 compute units and 32 megabytes of Infinity Cache.
You shouldn’t wait for reference cards. As is the case with the RX 6600 XT, the release of the models will be entirely on the shoulders of AMD partners.
