In early summer, AMD is preparing to introduce new processors in the Matisse Refresh line, but this is not the only plan for the Reds. According to specialized media, the company intends to present 13 variants of video cards at once in the foreseeable future. But let’s take it in order.
According to available data, it is planned to announce ten solutions based on the Navi 21 GPU, which is also known as Navi 21. The list will include four consumer solutions, the same number of models for different versions of Apple computers and laptops, as well as two professional models.
The list of GPUs for game cards looks like this:
- Navi 21 XTX – replacement for the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary, the top version of the card;
- Navi 21 XT – the heir to the Radeon RX 5700 XT;
- Navi 21 XL – the successor to the Radeon RX 5700;
- Navi 21 XE is the development of the Radeon RX 5600 XT.
The list of solutions for Apple is as follows:
- Navi 21 Pro-XT;
- Navi 21 Pro-XL;
- Navi 21 XTA;
- Navi 21 XLA.
The first two versions will be registered in Mac Pro, the second – in iMac and iMac Pro respectively. Finally, professional versions are expected as follows:
- Navi 21 Pro-XT, which will replace the Radeon Pro W5700X;
- Navi 21 Pro-XL – instead of the Radeon Pro W5700.
All of the above chips will be based on the RDNA2 architecture. But that’s not all. Three more maps will be based on older Navi 10 chips with RDNA:
- Navi 10 XT + will replace the Radeon RX 5700 XT;
- Navi 10 XM + – improvement of the Radeon RX 5600M;
- Navi 10 XTE + – development of the Radeon RX 5600 XT.
If this is true, then the company intends to cover the whole range of graphic solutions from budget versions to top ones.
