This week the trading network “M Video“promised to open sales on Playstation 5… It was about a new batch of a new generation console. The announcement on social networks was published on December 25th.
Orders for standard versions of consoles and Digital Edition it was proposed to issue through the contact center, in the mobile application and in stores. The opportunity opened on December 28, only all the available consoles were sold out in a matter of minutes.
The players were especially outraged by the fact that they did not receive any warnings about the opening of sales, although the publications urged people to subscribe to notifications and promised to additionally inform them before the start.
In addition, M.Video administrators closed comments in the official VKontakte group, limiting communication with the audience. According to a new statement, the chain is now processing orders and “weeding out resellers.”
“Next year we expect to receive more consoles to meet the demand of all our customers,” it said in a statement.
Given the circumstances, the dissatisfied players accused the representatives of M. Video of cheating. Some of them were allegedly able to talk to store employees, who said that no consoles were on sale.
Gamers suggested that the consoles were taken by the sellers themselves for subsequent resale at inflated prices. Similar incidents were previously allegedly recorded in “El Dorado”…
