Sonata to the Moonlight – Adagio
When we talk about mediocre titles, we always try to distinguish the parts in which that title sinks like a lead in the pity of mediocrity, and the parts where, perhaps for some good idea, manages to get back to making judgment less categorical and more inclined to retractions of all types.
Well, with AereA it is never so, from the beginning of history, passing through gameplay and coming to considerations related to the style used. But let’s proceed to order. Captured in a magical and musical world, we will know Guido and Demetrio, two orchestral directors with improbable names and fraternal friends among them. They, besides composing good music, are hidden scholars and love to study the magic inherent in musical instruments.
Among the instruments studied, stand out from Primordial Instruments, powerful relics that allow those who play them to have astonishing powers. Demetrius, who is certainly wiser than Guido, and who understands that studying is good, but much better than having unlimited powers with which to rule the world, decides to take over the Relics and to put the known world into iron and fire.
 It will be then a task force formed by four intrepid heroes chosen by Guido in person and equipped with musical instruments, the task of rediscovering those powerful relics and bringing peace and order into a world that has become disarming times, invaded by evil beings who have corrupted beauty of music.

A premise that certainly did not make us leap from the chair, a sad prelude to the drama that is accomplished once the first game started . From the very first moments, in fact, AereA looks like the ugly copy of his predecessors presenting himself with a gaming system based on some famous dungeon crawler (somebody said Diablo?)
But derivative to such a degree to reduce to the minimum terms the system of loot and character growth. But let’s go ahead and order, what’s still to be done in the street and we are only at the first movement.

Sonata at Moonlight – Allegretto and Presto Agitato
As in all the symphonies or the great operas, after a majestic and inebriating opening led by a subtle motif, one enters the main body of the symphony trying to reproduce that same motif and declare it in different ways in order to give air and space for the whole work.
Here, with AereA this does not happen and if we could compare it to a great opera would be Rossini’s Barber of Seville reproduced as Elio would do, that is to say with only one note. Because what the guys at Triangle Studios offer is a game of intense, always equal to itself, repetitive and boring.
And why it is soon said. Messi in front of the gameplay, we soon realized that it is nothing but a reduction to the minimum terms of other classic gameplay, nowadays roused over the years by whole generations, and implemented in a gaming viewer and game developer without actually adding anything new.
