ADATA introduced the fastest SSD in the world – review

The PCIe 4.0 High Speed ​​Marathon continues. Company ADATA brought to the exhibition CES 2023 drives XPG Sage, XPG Indigo and XPG Pearl. All of them are made in the M.2 NVMe form factor and support a modern interface.

The Sage model supports sequential read and write speeds of more than 7000 and 6000 MB / s, respectively. Random read / write rates are up to 1,000,000 and 800,000 IOPS. This model will be available in a maximum of 4 TB.

Indigo is built on a controller Silicon Motion SM2264. Sequential read and write performance is the same as the older model. And performance in random access operations reaches 700,000 IOPS.

The third model is based on the controller Silicon Motion SM2267. Sequential access speeds of up to 4000 and 3000 MB / s for reading and writing. In random access operations, the system issues up to 400,000 IOPS.
