During the live broadcast from the exhibition Tokyo Game Show 2023 Online company Capcom never showed new gameplay Resident Evil: Village, but the developers have provided an opportunity for one of the guests of the broadcast to a comedian Eiko Kano play the horror demo. - Immediately after starting the demo, a battle begins with a “very strong” opponent;
- Despite the fact that the action takes place in winter, some enemies are on the street without clothes;
- Opponents in Resident Evil 8 behave differently than in Resident Evil 7;
- When killed, items drop from enemies;
- The player can use environmental objects such as bookshelves to fend off opponents;
- Enemies can be stunned using weapons or surrounding objects;
- At the very beginning, Ethan, pursued by enemies, will flee the village;
- Depending on the player’s actions, part of the village may burn down;
- The gun can be found at the start;
- Game producer Tsuyoshi Kanda confirmed that the demo takes place at the beginning of the game;
- According to Eiko Kano, the game shows a lot of action from the first minutes;
- Items dropped from enemies can be turned into ammunition and other useful things.
Resident Evil: Village is created specifically for the next generation consoles and PC. Capcom recently announced that it is considering releasing the game on Xbox one and Playstation 4, however, the company does not yet give any guarantees that the port for the carrentgen will eventually take place. The developers have promised to do everything possible so that in case of release, users of current platforms will receive a top-level survival horror.
The release is expected early next year.
