According to Deadline, Disney launched into production a new full-length film about the evil sisters of Cinderella from the story of the same name.
The tape will be a musical comedy that will rethink the familiar story from the point of view of those very sisters, and the plot will tell about them from childhood and, it seems, will affect the period after the happy wedding of Cinderella herself.
Responsible for the project script Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo (“Barb and the Star are going to Vista del Mar”), who will act as a director is not clear. Sources suggest that Wiig and Mumolo may also play the main roles, as in the case of their last picture, but so far this is only a theory.
There is no exact date for the premiere of the tape, and the development itself is still at a very early stage.
