Team IO Interactive announced the release of a fresh update for stealth action HITMAN 3 – it adds to the project support for textual Russian localization, which was absent on the release in January 2023… The patch is already available for download on all platforms.
In addition, the released HITMAN 3 update also kicks off the add-on “Lust“- the fourth of seven planned content packs tied to deadly sins.
The lack of localization in HITMAN 3 at the start of the game surprised Russian fans. Based on comments in the media, IO Interactive took such a step due to a lack of resources.
The fact is that the studio developed and published the action movie on its own. The two previous releases of the franchise, supported by WB Games and Square enix, were immediately distributed with Russian subtitles.
