In a Japanese store Nojima found a page of the new revision of the digital PlayStation 5 – the CFI-1100B variant is 300 grams lighter than the current CFI-1000B model.
Another difference, judging by the manual, will be a different screw for the stand.
Sony typically updates consoles once a year – each version of the PlayStation 4, including the Fat, Slim, and Pro, has had multiple revisions. On the PS4, each new version first of all improved the weak points of the previous version, including improving the cooling performance and reducing the noise level.
