In the evening of July 15 Valve took the industry by surprise with the announcement of a portable console Steam Deck… With a set of buttons on the sides and a 7-inch screen in the middle, the system looks pretty big. The Steam Deck turned out to be longer, thicker and wider than the hybrid of the Japanese company, and most importantly: almost 2.5 times heavier than the smallest version of the console, the Nintendo Switch Lite.

Nintendo Switch with OLED Display:
- 10.16 x 24.13 x 1.4 cm, 426.38 grams
Nintendo Switch Lite:

- 11.7 x 29.8 x 4.9 cm, 669 grams

Interestingly, the Steam Deck is much smaller than its Nintendo Switch counterpart. Judging by the Valve scheme, the accessory will allow not only charging the system via USB, but also connecting to an external screen using HDMI.
