Although the May premiere of a zombie action movie “Army of the dead“already behind us, there are two more projects ahead of us in the universe, one of which will be a prequel called”Army of thieves“. The first frames Zach Snyder shared on Twitter.
The prequel is directed and starred by Matthias Schweighefer, who played safe-cracker Ludwig Dieter in the original film, while Zack and Deborah Snyder are listed as producers.
In the images presented, in addition to Matthias Schweighefer himself, you can see other members of the team of robbers, whose roles were played by the star “The game of thrones“and film series”The fast and the furious“Natalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. According to the plot, a mysterious woman hires Dieter, a bank teller from a small town, to join Interpol’s team of most wanted criminals to rob high-tech safes across Europe.
Army of Thieves is coming to Netflix this fall.
