Chinese coronavirus and e-sports – what do we know about Wuhan

China is one of the most advanced countries in the development of the e-sports industry. Dozens of international Dota 2 tournaments are held there annually, as well as major competitions in CS: GO, PUBG, League of Legends and other disciplines. However, in the past few weeks, computer sports fans have become a serious cause for concern – since December 2019, they, along with the rest of the world, have been following disturbing news about the spread of a new type of coronavirus that has appeared in Wuhan, China. Cybersport.ru decided to recall how this city was known in the e-sports industry before the outbreak.
